One key deliverable of the Center is to develop Data Analytics and
Predictive Modeling (DAPM) methodologies and tools that are transferable and
expandable for all states and territories to improve UI fraud prevention and
detection by identifying new data sources and tools for use in the detection
and prevention of fraudulent UI claims, as well as non-fraudulent improper
payments;

 

As a Project Coordinator, you would independently direct all activities
related to the development and implementation of the DAPM Project according
to the grant requirements for the Center.  You would be responsible for
initiating, planning, and executing this project by creatively applying
managerial, technical, financial, contracting and facilitation skills to
resolve problems and ensure the project would be met on time, within budget
and in accordance with the grant proposal.  A key component of this work is
to apply DAPM expertise in overseeing the work of a contractor who will be
developing a DAPM solution in coordination with the Pilot States (Kentucky
and Kansas).

 

Skills Needed:

·         Eighty Four (84) months of demonstrated experience in projects
related to data analytics and/or predictive modeling, which includes the
gathering and analysis of statistical data and the development of models
designed to predict outcomes

·         24 months of experience in or with governmental entities in data
analytics, predictive modeling, research or technology, including the
ability to present technical information to management and staff.

·         24 months proficiency in Modeling environment like SAS, Spotfire,
"R" or equivalent; Predictive Mathematical algorithms like Neural Networks,
Linear/Logistical Regression, Decision Trees, Clustering, Naïve Bayes
Classifications or equivalent: and Ensemble Methodology like
Weighted/non-weighted voting, Weighted/non-weighted averaging, Random forest
or equivalent. 

·         24 months experience providing status updates on the project in
the form of reports, dialogs, and delivery of results 

·         Bachelor's Degree or higher from a regionally accredited college
or university. Please include copy of Diploma.
