Location: Albany, NY Duration: 12+ months Rate: Open The Specialist activities and responsibilities that will be required in this project include but are not limited to: 1. Define and implement strategy for DB backups, recovery 2. Create schema objects, define storage parameters, user privileges 3. Set up and review Oracle configuration parameters 4. Continuously and proactively monitor database performance and work with developers to improve the system performance 5. Coordinate with other DBAs, system administrators for the Software upgrades of DBMS or OS. Installation of Oracle patches as needed 6. Coordinate with system administrators for backups, storage and any system maintenance activities 7. Maintenance tasks including debugging, testing, and implementation. 8.
