Location: Los Angeles, CA Duration: 6+ months Rate: Open Position Description: The selected candidate will be interacting daily with Business Analysts and other functional experts, as well as end users, to comprehend requirements and ensure all aspects of project are delivered as planned. The ideal candidate must thrive on working in a fast-paced environment and be able to effectively understand and provide solutions to challenging reporting problems using the 10g and 11g versions of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition Plus Toolsets. Responsibilities: * Analyze requirements definition and scope documentation * Recommend appropriate solutions based on business requirements * Design reporting and analytic solutions to meet business requirements * Provide level of effort estimates for the creation/modification of OBIEE Repository objects * Provide level of effort estimates for the development of BI reports * Develop and maintain BI Reports (Pre-defined and Ad-hoc), Dashboards, Web catalog, Answers, Delivers, BIP, and iBots * Create both pre-defined and ad-hoc reports * Troubleshoot BI Reports problems * Performance tuning of BI Reports * Design and optimize the physical, logical and presentation layers within the OBIEE Repository * Develop, configure, customize, and troubleshoot OBIEE Repository objects such as data models, meta data hierarchies, and others. * Migrate OBIEE objects between work environments * Analyze problems and provide recommendations for OBIEE Repository and Middle Tier configurations * Prepare detailed documentation for all objects developed * Prepare transition documents * Other OBIEE duties as assigned * Transfer knowledge to LAUSD Personnel Skills/Education Needed: * BS/BA in a related technical field * 8+ years of expert level experience with BI Reports development using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition Plus (OBIEE) 10g and 11g toolset * Strong Experience with PL/SQL, and Unix Scripting highly desired * Experience with data warehousing systems and HR data is highly desired Thanks Sandeep Sandeep Jain Software People Inc. www.softwarepeople.us [email protected] Ph: 631-863-0299, 631-410-4741, 631-921-2111 C Fax: 631-574-3122 Certifications: SBA 8a/SDB, NY MWBE, VA SWaM, DE OMWBE, MA MWBE -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Exact Match" group.
