*VmWare Architect * Loc: Atlanta, GA Duration: Long term Required: At least 1 vendor accreditation at the highest level, typically Vshpere, Microsoft etc. Virtualization - Extensive Experience working with Vsphere 4.x or 5.x. Knowledge of failover technologies and system design are highly desired. Microsoft clustering - Extensive experience with server clustering. Microsoft Windows Server - Experience working with Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008 or 2012. Microsoft SQL Server - Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008 or 2012 SAN- Knowledge of, worked with and ability to design correct capacity needed. HP and IBM SAN hardware knowledge very desirable. Experience preferred with some or all of the following: Oracle, SQL based systems, strong understanding of integrating heterogeneous applications using messaging (e.g. MQ), web services and other connector technologies. Networking - Basic knowledge of switching, routing, WANs, etc. Server hardware - Knowledge of HP Server equipment would be very desirable Ability to use Microsoft Visio well Experienced in writing technical proposals and working with teams and clients in a technical pre-sales role Ability to evaluate client business requirements and have a wide technical knowledge of the Airline, Airport and Transport arena to design solutions matching those requirements.
