*Title: Project Manager* *Location*: Jersey City, NJ *Position Type*: Contract *Duration:* 6 Months *Interview:* *In-person required after telephonic* *Job Description:* The Global Sourcing & Procurement Services (Client&PS) Ariba Project Manager will be responsible for managing the global transition and delivery of the PSS transformational program. This role will be aligned within the eProcurement Strategy Team and is critical to ensuring a successful global deployment. This individual will be responsible for managing assigned projects, with internal Client global staff and third-party service providers. They will be ensuring quality project and process deliverables are received and accepted on time and within project budget constraints. *Specific responsibilities include the following:* · Working with Senior Management, manage the global strategy, approach and overall training and communication plan for the Ariba projects · Manage project schedules using MS Project as well as MS Excel / Project / SharePoint project work as appropriate for each workstream · Coordinate all interactions between project team and the business/corporate support units ensuring that Ariba is being accounted for appropriately across all targeted regions · Lead project team meetings and partner with cross-functional team to resolve schedule, and deliverable quality problems as well as resolve any risks/issues that will impact delivery · Manage project changes via change control board, create documentation, facilitate change request approval processes · Validate the consolidated weekly / monthly etc., reports for the project · Manage critical success and standard metrics for implementations to measure utilization, sourcing processes and system performance across all applications within program · Review domestic and international business requirements for all Ariba modules in addition to reviewing Functional Design documentation to support the business requirements · Develop and review additional project documentation to track business processes, workflows and overall system design · Manage work on design, development, configuration, testing and rollout with integrated external 3rd party integrators and systems including SAP and business process outsourcer · Assist with day to day activities of the various workstreams including configuration, issue resolution and testing · Work with QA teams to ensure application meets business requirements · Work with key stakeholders to ensure UAT meets planned objectives · Ensure that all effected business units, globally, have a means of training that is readily accessible via all different types of media available (e.g. website, conference calls, emails, brochures, etc.) · Work with appropriate groups to ensure that the efforts of the projects are communicated through all available media (e.g. website, conference calls, emails, brochures, etc.) *Position Requirements* · Action oriented individual with demonstrated leadership experience in Ariba Sourcing and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) implementations, program management, process design and operational support. · Qualifications include: · B.S. in Business Management and 10+ years of business related work experience · Project management experience with progressive increase in responsibilities with large, complex and global systems · Configuration experience to include one or more of the ARIBA core disciplines including On Demand, Buyer (Requisitioning and Receiving), Invoicing, Analysis, Contract Compliance · Experience must span multiple ARIBA implementations and/or upgrade projects. · System background experience should include familiarity with reporting, workflow, configuration, modifications, etc. · Experience should include integrating with ERP systems, preferably SAP · Reporting and metrics experience preferred · Experience working with a PMO environment and managing multiple projects including infrastructure and application development with an understanding of various SDLCs · Proficient working knowledge with MS-Office suite of software applications, including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook · Strong Microsoft Project experience; ability to quickly learn other PM management tools, as required · Strong Microsoft PowerPoint experience preferred. · Experience with MS SharePoint for project document repository · Demonstrates excellent documentation, retention and follow-up skills · Demonstrates experience working well in teams and with individuals with differing professional experiences · Demonstrates excellent organizational and follow-up skills · Demonstrates ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines · 2+ Years of Change management experience -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Exact Match" group.
