Location: Columbus, OH Duration: 6+ months Rate: Open The contractor selected should posses Enterprise Senior Data Center experience involving systems/network administration in large server farms, the knowledge to set up of new physical/virtual environments, having the ability to perform hardware/software upgrades, knowledge to implement security guidelines, and ability to provide performance tuning to systems. The person will work with the Build/Systems team to provide this functionality and infrastructure system support. Technical Certifications: . VMware Certified Professional 5- Data Center Virtualization (VCP5-DCV) . VMware Certified Professional 5- Desktop (VCP5-DT) . Microsoft Certified Professional Hardware experience: . IBM SVC . Brocade Switches . Hitachi HUS 150 disk subsystems . HP MSA 1000 storage arrays Other experience: . Experience in managing and leading IT projects . General Knowledge of networking and security. This includes VLANs, switching, and firewalls. . Knowledge in cyber security and security practices . Network experiences with designing, configuring, and operating network switches and routers VMware Experience: . Minimum 5 years working experience with multi-tiered applications running on VMware vSphere . Senior Architectural Design and implementation experience . Knowledge and ability to manage virtual desktops . Senior Admin experience and expertise in managing multiple Datacenters, Clusters, Hosts . Expertise in VMware Windows, Unix, Solaris, and Linux operating systems . Managing ESXi 4.x, 5.x w/ vCenter and Update Manager, Remote CLI, PowerCLI . Ability to create and configure vSwitches, VDS, Port Groups, Network Policies within virtual infrastructure Vmware (vShield) - Optional .
