Key Responsibilities:

   - The position reports into the Development Manager for the Corporate
   System Reference Data Workstream.
   - This particular position is focusing on Reference Data and will
   improve both the quality of data as well as the Architectural components
   that store and distribute this data.

Experience and Skills Required/Desired:

   - Years of Technical Experience:
   - 8 years +
   - Required Technology Experience:
   - Oracle 11g, Control M, Subversion, Unix Shell scripting, Performance
   Tuning, Data warehouse patterns and methodologies.

Desired Technology Experience:

   - Knowledge and experience working Java/J2EE, JRules, SOA and Webservice,

Other desired skills/experience:

   - Banking Industry experience a plus
   - Experience in leading development team a plus
   - CS ERP Platform knowledge a BIG plus (JAP, SOA Backplane)
   - CS Methodologies knowledge a plus (CSP+, SDLC)

This role is responsible for the following:

   - Demonstrated strengths in analysis, design and implementation of large
   projects at major financial corporation(s), particularly in areas of Oracle
   and PL/SQL.
   - Provide technology solutions that address business needs by developing
   applications within technology environments
   - Knowledge of design patterns and best practices for high performance,
   scalable, extensible applications
   - Ability to define interfaces that can be implemented by the
   programming team
   - Contribute to the technical code documentation
   - Design, develop, and implement code
   - Implement fixes and enhancements
   - Create Test Plans, Test Cases and perform unit and integration testing
   - Support existing applications
   - Involved in full life cycle of project
   - Good verbal and written communication skills in dealing with IT end
   users
   - Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
   - Ability to utilize programming methodologies and languages
   - Clear communication and documentation of technical specifications
   - Efficient coding i.e. adhering to coding standards, procedures and
   techniques
   - Effective analysis of new and existing applications and platforms
   - Develop or re-use common or Organizational methodologies, policies,
   standards, processes, tools.
   - Coordinate with cross regional teams in, Americas, EMEA, APAC.
   - Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; high
   level of communication and accuracy.
   - Team player fostering a collaborative and cooperative approach to
   software development.
   - Self starter and should be in a position to take the development /
   delivery initiatives forward independently with limited support/direction.
