Responsibilities:

.         Participate in a team comprised of client and solution
implementation staff to deliver a data mapping inventory of all current
client's transactional systems which will be used to define "master" data
source and provide configuration mappings. Identify all current databases
utilized.

.         Develop data dictionary, meta data definitions, and relationships
between the current transactional database configurations.

.         Assess data redundancies between databases; Assess data quality;
Map existing data to new data dictionary for shared master data components.

.         Assist with data cleansing reference table enhancement based on
attributes in current databases to standardize across systems.

.         Data "cleansing" of agreed upon key master source data with
analytical tools and external third party products for specific data types
(address, locations, etc.).

.         Data Architect will define, drive, and manage enterprise Data
Strategy and Roadmap for the organization.

.         Data Architect will be responsible for developing and implementing
data models for information management strategies. 

.         The Data Architect develops strategies for metadata and master
data management, operational and analytical reporting, data archive and
recovery, and implementation and operation of database technologies for the
enterprise. 

.         Requires mastery technical and business knowledge in multiple
disciplines/processes. 

.         Performs work that is highly complex and varied in nature.
Develops integrated solutions to resolve highly complex technical and
business issues. 

 

Skills Needed:

.         Experienced Data Architect with extensive Experience performing
Data Modeling, data mapping, data cleansing, and building data dictionaries.

.         Expertise in relational databases to include Microsoft SQL,
Oracle, and DB2 

.         Expertise of data governance/data stewardship principles, polices,
processes, implementation, and tools. 

.         Solid background in data integration, staging, quality and
distribution.

.         Knowledgeable in various Data Integration technologies

.         Experience gained through numerous Full Life Cycle Data
Architecture projects.

.         Experience with MDM tools
