Would like to see samples of written communications and documentation that the candidate has completed in the past. Assuming they have done UAT testing before, would like to see samples of test scripts they have written. Organization skills and strong attention to detail are also required. Responsible for the creation and entry of test cases to enhance and add functionality to the CCUW Underwriting system. Review results, log defects related to UAT and retest defect fixes. CCUW is an end-to-end Commercial Insurance Underwriting system that supports all stages of the Underwriting process: Rating, Quote, Bind, Invoice, Book and Issue. The need for these positions is project related. We are in the process of finalizing requirements for a major re-write of the CCUW system which is an end-to-end Commercial Insurance Underwriting system that supports all stages of the Underwriting process: Rating, Quote, Bind, Invoice, Book and Issue. As part of this implementation we will need to complete extensive UAT testing to insure that all functions and permutations of the system are working to specification. Anticipated length of assignment is one year. There is the possibility of extension. *Requirements:* · 3 years’ experience testing large complex financial or insurance systems · Ability to quickly learn new concepts and system functions · Candidates must be self-motivated, independent, detail oriented and a responsible team player · Possess strong communication skills both written and oral · Ability to understand requirements and turn them into applicable test scenarios · Ability to adapt quickly to a complex working environment · Bachelor’s degree required.
