Create new test cases as needed. · Troubleshoot issues found while testing to deliver clear bug reports. · Must be able to drive projects to completion. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. · Adapt to change requests easily and remain flexible to accommodate new requirements. · Strong sense of ownership. Passion for technology. · Participation during all aspects of the product lifecycle from specification to release on the web. *Qualifications:* · Deep understanding of object oriented programming. 2 years of experience with any programming language: C#, Ruby or Java preferred. · 2 years of software testing experience, with a strong emphasis on automation preferred. · BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required · Demonstrates expertise in programming concepts & methodologies. Proven knowledge of various testing techniques. · Must be proficient in SQL including queries and stored procedures. · Ability to read and understand data models and relational databases · Must be able to understand and translate functional requirements/specifications into test cases, and proven ability to create new test cases. · Knowledge of modern internet technologies involving large scale transactional websites and web services. · Excellent problem solving and strong communication skills. · Must be able to function in a team environment and have the ability to adapt. client is looking for a skilled Software Test Automation Engineer to join their highly-collaborative environment and assist in bringing high-volume, customer-facing web applications to market.
