*Position : QA Selenium Automation Tester * *Location : Bellevue, WA Duration : 6+ Months* *Interview : Phone then Face to Face* *Must pass a background/drug screen* * Job Description* · Driving all aspects of quality assurance, ranging from spec review, to creation of test specifications, test plans, and test cases, to test-pass execution and analysis, triage, and more. · An ability to take initiative and execute efficiently are critical competencies in this role. · We work in a fast-paced, agile and continuous-delivery environment that requires the ability to balance between multiple projects and drive clarity from ambiguity in order to ship with confidence and ensure the high quality of our product experienced by millions of our users. *Job Responsibilities* · Own the creation and execution of automated and manual test cases based upon functional specifications and QA-best practices. · Perform testing of UI-layer, system-level components, and integration tests under aggressive release schedules. · Interface with team members to improve the test coverage and create quality code. · Define and perform tasks within areas of work with little to no supervision, in a timely manner. · Follow through to ensure defects are reported and escalated appropriately. *Qualifications*: · Excellent problem solving skills and test-engineering acumen. · 3-5 years of experience testing presentation layer, business logic, and back-end services in one or more of the following technologies: Java, JavaScript, TestNG, Ruby, Gherkin, Cucumber, HTML, and CSS. · A passion for quality and a proactive approach to testing. · An ability to communicate effectively with business owners and peers in other functional roles in order to improve the customer experience. · Previous work in agile environment preferred. · Experience with internet E-commerce and/or the online-travel industry a bonus. · BS degree in CS or related engineering discipline or equivalent work experience required.
