Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 12+ months Rate: Open Advance skills and knowledge in business process analysis, system analysis, and business process re-engineering for computer applications. Ability to work with end-users to document current work tasks, perform job-work tasks decompositions, and participate in job and work tasks process improvements. This position requires a knowledge and skills in job and work process analysis and design. Must be able to work without assistance, provide leadership to others, and able to work within complex and fast paced work efforts. Description (including, but not limited to): . Knowledge with BABOK standards and methods . Knowledge with BPMNv2 standards and methods . Knowledge and skills with work process improvement approaches such as Six Sigma, Harrington's process improvement, and/or traditional industrial engineering job redesign methods. . Knowledge of human factors principles for human-computer interface design . Knowledge and skills in using VISIO to diagram processes . Knowledge and skills in preparing job and work process documentation Desired skills: . Strong organizational skills. . Strong communication skills . Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. . Understand impact of interface and systems design decisions on technology, information flow, and/or business processes. Responsibilities include: . Learn client work processes for legacy software applications systems . Learn new SCUBI software application . Work with client staff to perform work task and job decomposition on staff's legacy system work processes . Analyze legacy work processes, perform a map and gap analysis, and work with client staff to design and prepare new job process and work tasks to support the new SCUBI application . Prepare VISIO work flow and work process diagrams of legacy and new work processes and work tasks . Prepare other kinds of BPM and job decomposition diagrams and documents as needed .
