*Visa status : US CITIZEN / GREEN CARD / EAD ONLY* We have an immediate Openings with Our Direct Client for a Long term contract position *Job Title: Sr SAP ABAP/HR Consultant* *Location: Phoenix, AZ* *Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire.* *First round Telephonic Interview* *Second round face to face interview* *Summary:* The SAP Programmer is responsible for production support, maintenance and enhancements of SAP HR/payroll ECC 6 system. • Gather information, determine alternatives, create functional/technical specifications, estimate development hours, create technical design, develop and troubleshoot ABAP programs to meet defined business needs • Develop and modify ABAP code contained in reports, BAPIs, user exits, function modules, RFCs and interfaces that adhere to coding standards • Analyze and debug delivered and custom ABAP code • Interact with internal business customers and other members of the team on integration and re-engineering opportunities. • Ability to multi-task development, support and on-going maintenance projects and meet deadlines in a complex and dynamic environment • Deliver high quality, efficient solutions through innovative approaches to dynamic business processes • Translate proposed business processes into correct SAP configuration • Must have SAP Payroll functional application knowledge, experience and a strong understanding of the integration points • Work with the project team to ensure that all SAP designs are correct and that customizations are only made as required by the business • Ensure that if customizations are required that solutions are created according to SAP best practices • Solve complex issues that arise with system operations, job monitoring, routine program modification, performance tuning or problem solving and participate in on-call rotation. • Define/implement workaround processes, corrective action, communication and system cleanup activities • Formulate and execute positive and negative unit test plans and assist in developing system regression and performance test plans for enhancements or new releases in the various test and productive environments *Qualifications * • At least 5+ years of related ABAP and HR / payroll programming experience • Configuration of SAP ECC 6.0 experience • Proven experience with payroll processes, payroll clusters, offcycle, 3rd party remittance, process models • Enhancement Pack experience for ECC 6.0 / Netweaver and Java, Javascript, XML, IDoc, Business Connector, SDLC • SAP PI Development • HR Forms and Smart Forms a plus • Very strong communication skills; Ability to articulate and convey content to both end-users, IT peers and Leadership • SAP Implementation experience a plus If you are interested, please send me your updated resume with your contact number.
