*Position: * *Sr. Java Developer with Mobile Background Exp. * *Location : Chicago, IL * *Duration: 12+ Months * *Interview Mode: Phone then Face to Face* *Job Description* • We are looking for Senior Java Developer to build back end RESTful services for our iOS and Android mobile applications. • The Senior Software Developer’ role is to design, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications. • This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production lifecycle. • The software developer will also analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports where required. *Job Requirement* • 10+ years experience working as an application designer and software developer working with enterprise applications. • Hands-on software troubleshooting experience. • Experience with specific phases of the software development life cycle including requirements gathering, requirements analysis, design, development, and test. • Personal Attributes: Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies. • Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products. • Technically proficient. • Highly self-motivated and directed. • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. • Education: College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or software engineering, and/or 8+ years equivalent work experience. • Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job: • Technically fluent in programming languages, including C, Java. • Knowledge of database design and file management techniques. • Knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures. • Knowledge of Web based Architectures *Job Requirements* • Demonstrable Java development skills required (preferably JDK7 or 8). • Web service and REST API design, documentation, development skills required. • Experience consuming third party API’s and services required. • Experience designing, implementing, and consuming resources from localizable content hierarchies required. • Working knowledge of database design required. • Broad general experience and exposure to open source technologies supporting Java development and the Java ecosystem required. • Exposure to mobile development (paid or unpaid) is a strong plus. • Experience building high availability and/or enterprise grade web applications is a strong plus. • Familiarity with Splunk is a plus. • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is desired. • Hotel / hospitality experience may be helpful. *Regards* *Vikas Gupta* *Technical Recruiter* *VSG Business Solutions* *221,Cornwell Dr, Bear, DE 19701* *Email :[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Contact No : 302-261-3207 X 109* *Hangout :vikas9181.vsg* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Exact Match" group.
