Contract Duration: 1 year Location: San Francisco , California Minimum Requirements: *REQUIREMENTS:* - 7+ years of professional experience in *Business Response* o*r Production Support for Trade Desk or Floor* - Expert working knowledge in *UNIX, SQL* - Strong working knowledge in scripting (*Perl/Python)* - Strong analytical skills and ability to learn quickly on the job - Strong and confident communication skills (Verbal and Written) is a MUST - Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and articulate incidents clearly - Strong sense of SLA’s and resolving issues in timeliness Description: *Trade Des*k Production Support *GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:* - This is a high-profile position and *deals with Traders, Analysts, Business* and IT groups on a day to day basis - Business response/desk support for a variety of asset classes *(Fixed Income, Equity and Equity* *Derivatives)* - On a Day to Day basis, will be responsible for Traders desk Application support, Monitoring trades, workflow, Jobs and analyzing any production incidents, providing workarounds pro-actively. - Will be responsible for Daily checkouts (Begin of Day, End Of Day) and extensively working with NY and other US markets - Will have extensive communication (verbally and written, over phone/Emails/standing up ) with multiple teams internally and externally like Exchange, Brokers, Counterparts, etc - Incident analysis and debugging using scripts, SQL and providing inputs to IT teams *REQUIREMENTS:* - 7+ years of professional experience in Business Response or Production Support - Must have experience supporting Trading Desk in Front Office across asset classes. Should have the ability to speak in Traders language and perform all kinds of support – L1, L2 and L3 - Must have proven experience and good knowledge on Trade Workflow – Big Picture and deep understanding of specific activities from Order generation to Trade Execution to Trade management - To effectively communicate with several stakeholders from Portfolio Managers to Traders to Technology teams to External brokers and counterparts - Expert knowledge in analyzing issues in a short time and responding/resolving issues in timed SLA is mandatory - Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and articulate incidents clearly - Must be able to multi-task and work in a challenging and fast paced environment. - Expert working knowledge in UNIX, SQL - Strong working knowledge in scripting (Perl/Python) - Strong analytical skills and ability to learn quickly on the job - Strong and confident communication skills (Verbal and Written) is a MUST - ****THIS IS NOT A NETWORK/INFRSTRUCTURE support role**** *EXPERIENCE WITH ONE OR MORE OF:* - Ability to write Python/Perl scripts for automation or background service checks - UNIX/LINUX and shell scripting with in-depth knowledge of UNIX commands - PL/SQL – Ability to write Complex SQLs, Joins and procedures for CRUD operations - Proven experience in strong communication and managing multiple stakeholders - Proven experience in dealing with high pressure environment and working with timed SLAs *BUSINESS ACCUMEN:* - Understanding of Deal Flow to trade capture to exchange communication (Front Office) and Operations is a plus - Understanding of trading Equity and Fixed Income is a plus *EDUCATION OR CERITIFICATIONS:* - Master of Science or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar certifications to support technical knowledge Need a Business Response/Production Support person with following experience/expertise · Strong Communication Skills (written and verbal) · Hands-on experience on UNIX/Perl/SQL · Experience on L1, L2 support and ability to debug applications (in Perl/Python/SQL) · Must have experience working on timed SLA’s with proven commitment and timeliness · Strong analytical skills and Ability to learn quickly on the job · Knowledge on C++/.Net is a plus · *Solid Experience in the financial world (Trading domain)* *Thanks & Regards.....* *Arif* *Technical Recruiter.* *[email protected]* <[email protected]> *Centraprise Corp Edison , New Jersey.* *3 Ethel Rd,Suite # 304.
