*Face to Face interview needed.* Duration: 6 months Location: IN *Purpose of Position/Summary:* This position will be the sole developer responsible for supporting and developing on the HIV Services team. Specific project is to convert an existing java based application into a more modern .NET response framework to conform to current OTC programming guidelines. *Responsibilities:* · Design, implements, tests, and supports eligibility and enrollment applications developed in Oracle, Mercator, Java and JSP. · Create databases, functions, tables, views, procedures, and reports in ORACLE and MS SQL Server 2005, and other platforms to support the HIV program area and to facilitate data management. · supports Electronic Data Interchange in X12, NCPDP batch, and real time 5.1 formats between ISDH and third party vendors such as Medicaid · Responsible for importing quarterly insurance premiums and claims utilization data and for exchanging data electronically with business partners such as the Indiana Comprehensive Health Insurance Association. · Ensure the availability, security, and integrity of the HIV Medical Services Program utilization data and analyzes operational performance reports for claims data. · Creates datasets in XML for RSR reporting. · Acts as a technical advisor in interactions with third party vendors and monitors systems for performance deviations and anomalies. · Responsible to redesign and convert ITARA to a .NET Application · Create application documentation · Insure coding standards are followed and deliverables are met on time. · Provides System analysis and programming, and support to applications. Works with IT staff to ensure the delivery of the software solution meets the business requirements of the program. *Job Requirements:* Contractor must have an understanding of responsive web design and be able to work with a provided template. The ability to work independently on the assigned project is a must.
