Healthcare domain experience.* Practical knowledge and experience in *all phases of software QA* • Experience with testing at various levels (*unit, functional, integration, system, load and performance testing*) • IIST certification preferred • Experience working with *iterative and waterfall methodologies* • Knowledge of *testing mainframe, distributed or open systems applications* • Knowledge of *project planning and project management methods *• Knowledge *of test plans, test cases and test scripts* • Knowledge of software testing tools -- *particularly IBM Rational Suite (Requisite Pro, Clear Quest, Functional Tester, Test Manager, Robot), or equivalent.* • Knowledge of *testing automation and scripting language* • Technical knowledge in products/technologies which are relevant to the testing solution • Knowledge of *Health Plan or health applications* *Essential Responsibilities/Accountabilities:* All Levels • Creates Test Plan and facilitates creation of test cases. • Ensures testability of requirements and test coverage. • Coordinates the development of the test scoping document to be used for the construction of the environments. • Defines critical test areas for system testing and reviews risk assessments. • Develops and manages testing schedule, and reports on testing statuses and results to project teams and leadership. • Inspects project artifacts and reports on compliance. • Leads the test efforts to ensure proper operation, defect analysis, and freedom from defects. • Coordinates activities with Project Manager and Core project team. • Communicates with core project team members and immediate supervisor • Consistently demonstrates high standards of integrity by supporting the Lifetime Healthcare Companies’ mission and values and adhering to the Corporate Code of Conduct. • Maintains high regard for member privacy in accordance with the corporate privacy policies and procedures. • Maintains knowledge of all relevant legislative and regulatory mandates and ensures that all activities are in compliance with these requirements. • Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required. • Performs other functions as assigned by management.
