They are looking for a strong responsive web developer who is able to come
up with pragmatic solutions that gets the content out effectively.

They will be joining an Agile team, working on making the website more
responsive (such as adding geo location) as well as redoing primary traffic
pages. It is currently using Sharepoint as a CMS but they are looking to
re-platform over the next 9-12 months and this person will be a key
participant of the replatforming effort.

Must Have:
Java, Javascript (ideally jquery and backbone but other javascript
frameworks also will be acceptable)
CSS/HTML5
UI/UX, responsive web design and development

plus skills:
mobile optimization
Sharepoint


*Job Responsibilities:*

   - Owning all technical aspects of UI development for assigned
   applications; Performing hands-on architecture, design, and development of
   systems
   - Performing hands-on software and strategy development, writing code,
   conducting code reviews and testing in ongoing sprints, doing proof of
   concepts
   - Driving consistent development practices - tools and common
   components; Developing deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and
   platforms within the supported domains
   - Working with technical product managers contributing to blueprints,
   and assisting with annual planning of feature sets
   - Identifying exciting opportunities for adopting new technology to
   solve existing needs and predicting future challenges
   - Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of
   a team.
   - Quickly generate and updating HTML prototypes from UI concepts for
   testing and team feedback
   - Finalizing HTML prototypes into Web Applications by integrating with
   back-end services and functionality
   - Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices in order to
   push the limits of what a browser can do.
   - Working closely with UX/Visual Designers to translate visual and
   functional specifications to customer-facing experiences.
   - Build with future product and technical vision in mind to streamline
   the iterative release process.


They ARE looking for:
- Outward public facing commercial grade experience / B2B enterprise level
- She doesn’t want people who are also designers (she thinks that they’ll
not be able to work well with the UX person because both of them would lock
heads with the UX person)
- She wants somebody who has prior exp implementing wireframes given to
them by the ux designer
- Coach candidates to show that they want to work with a talented designer
and that they prefer to execute and implement them.
