Candidate must have good communication skills. *Job Description: Department Overview:* Counterparty Risk Management is responsible for measuring and monitoring risk across all collateralised exposures to Financial Institutions and Funds. 3D Stress system brings together the 3 dimensions of Counterparty Risk, i.e., Trade, Collateral and Counterparty data and allows user to stress and view all the information together. *Main Function:* The role will be a developer role, working closely with the Risk Managers in the CRM team. The major functions of the job are: · Working on systems developments/enhancements to meet user's requirements. · General Business Analysis and systems development/enhancement related to Counterparty Risk related initiatives. · Testing associated with the above initiatives including consolidating user issues. · When required, investigation of problems in the process to identify and rectify issues. *Main Duties:* · Development/Support/Enhancement of tools and applications using SQL, C#, SSIS and Autosys · Interpreting risk data across different asset classes. · Development of reports and reporting tools to provide timely and accurate MI to risk managers. · Liaising with different stakeholders (Risk Managers, Market Risk Engineering, Risk Project teams, IT) in order to draw up work schedule. *Person Requirements: Desirable:* · Completed a degree with strong grades from a reputable university *Technical Knowledge:* · Strong SQL (T-SQL, MS SQL Server 2008) and SSIS skills · C#, Autosys · Working with large datasets · Experience in developing rapid delivery technical solutions to business requirements in a Risk/Finance environment. · Experience in working on a batch based system including support of such systems. · A Proven track record of data modelling and database design within stringent timescales *Business Knowledge: * · Risk management knowledge and/or general business knowledge · Comprehensive understanding of the range of products and services within the firm and the ability to apply this understanding to reporting requirements, both internal and external. · Control Environment · Escalates breaches of policies and procedures appropriately · Must be regarded as proactive and assertive in driving control improvement for their area · Strong control awareness - in particular, the individual should be able to identify any initiatives which · they have led which has directly improved the control environment for the area they work in · Strong understanding and has the mindset to strive to identify potential control breakdowns in process, also demonstrated with effective procedure manuals · Ability to streamline processes in a most efficient manner not only within the team but also within the firm, and if required, negotiate / persuade other department to accept the change. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Exact Match" group.
