6+ month contract Utilizes computer technologies to create and explore more innovative ways of portraying a message to ensure end-user adoption and align with organizational change management practices; this includes using design software that allows creation of images, etc. resulting in a polished end product. Your communication and marketing campaigns will be seen by internal company customers. By creating user-friendly communication, layouts and functionality, you will be directly responsible for helping these employees access information they need in the fastest and most enjoyable way possible. The scope of the campaigns will surround Information Technology application launches to employees. SKILLS 1) Ability to translate high level business requirements and perform the following: into functional and system requirements • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials. • Plans concept by studying information and materials. • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts. • Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval. • Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; purchasing from vendors. • Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts. 2) Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type. 3) Confer with clients to discuss and determine layout design. 4) Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, project icons, and websites. Knowledgeable in SharePoint. 5) Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with clients or supervisors and making necessary changes. 6) Excellent knowledge of computer software to generate new images. 7) Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products. 8) Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer. 9) Prepare notes and instructions for workers who assemble and prepare final layouts for printing. 10) Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer. 11) Study illustrations and photographs to plan presentation of materials, products, or services. 12) Research new software or design concepts. 13) Video production knowledge is preferred. 14) Must be exceptional listeners because they have to understand what their clients’ want, while understanding how to attract their target audience 15) Excellent communication skills in all forms. 16) Ability to document business processes.
