*Please check the JD and let me know if you have any local candidates available. * *Position: Sr. Oracle Developer* *Location: Juno Beach, FL* *Duration:12 months* *Interview: Phone then Skype* *Locals would be preferred* The Senior Oracle (PL/SQL) Developer will join a team focused on the development and maintenance of data warehouse. Analyzes business needs and requirements, defines optimum system requirements to meet business needs, and prioritizes and manages new requirements *The successful candidate will have extensive experience in* • Architecture (data modeling, database design), PL/SQL development • Understanding of SDLC and agile development methodologies and the ability to work with minimal oversight, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • In system designs and diagrams as well as user and technical documentation. *RESPONSIBILITIES* PL/SQL development work, Query Tuning, application performance Monitoring/improvements, Provides regular support for existing systems. Develop business requirements into implementable architecture and designs. Writes and assembles system level design specifications. Develops system level program specifications and test plans. Ensures quality control by adhering to programming, testing and documentation standards. Create operations and technical documentation for developed systems and applications Utilize advanced Oracle features and techniques where appropriate to develop robust, reliable and high-performance solutions. Maintain awareness of new Oracle features and techniques and develop an understanding of how and where they can best be applied. Participate in and support QA and user-acceptance test procedures and environments *REQUIREMENTS* • Minimum of 8 years’ experience developing database applications in PL/SQL using Packages, Functions, Procedures and Complex SQL. • Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills Data • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to create detailed, well-written documentation for a variety of audiences. • Strong understanding of all phases of the application development lifecycle • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment. • Oracle 11g experience a must. • Excellent problem solving, issue identification, analytical and technical documentation skills. • SQL Query tuning.
