Our Boston client is looking for 2 .NET developers with experience working
in asset management. There are 2 different roles, both 6+ month contracts.
Phone then on-site interview in Boston. The descriptions are below, but
candidates for both roles must have:



•             Expert knowledge in .NET (C#) and SQL

•             Experience in asset management technology team –(MUST have
asset mgt experience – banking or financial services general knowledge not
enough)

•             Experience implementing solutions with the following security
types: Equities, ETFs, Futures, Options, Structured Notes, FX, Total Return
Swaps, Interest Rates Swaps, and Volatility Swaps

•             Experience delivering software as part of an Agile delivery
team



Contract Software Developer- OMS & SMF



Position Overview:

We are looking for a Developer to support our newly formed Multi-Asset
Class Strategies (MACS) team from an IT perspective. This is an exceptional
opportunity to help support a new effort at Acadian as part of a small
entrepreneurial team. The MACS effort will focus on all major global asset
classes including, but not limited to Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies,
Commodities and Options/Volatility.  The Contract Developer reports to the
Director of Software Engineering and is a member of the Information
Technology team.



This is a 6 month+ contract assignment.



Responsibilities:

•             Design, develop, unit test, implement, and support solutions
(applications, reporting, integration) to support the Multi-Asset Class
Strategy (MACS) initial rollout.  Specifically the various integrations
inbound and outbound of the OMS (e.g. Security Master inbound, Trades
outbound).

•             Build integration solutions leveraging SSIS for batch
integration and IBM MQ / .NET (C#)for real-time based integration

•             Build reporting solutions leveraging SSRS and .NET

•             Work with the team to design appropriate data models for
strategic data stores in the area of Account Master, Broker / Custodian
Master, and Position Master



Qualifications:

•             5+ years experience in the asset management business, ideally
with a buy-side multi-asset focus

•             5+ years experience delivering software as part of an Agile
delivery team

•             Expert working knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, and the .NET
Framework; Strong database engineering skills on the MS SQL server platform

•             Experience implementing front office solutions with the
following security types: Equities, ETFs, Futures, Options, Structured
Notes, FX, Total Return Swaps, Interest Rates Swaps, and Volatility Swaps

•             Experience implementing an order management system (OMS);
Charles River Development (CRD) preferred

•             Expertise with the CRD Middle Tier, Web Services, and
Messaging is a plus.

•             Experience with security master solutions; MarkIT EDM
preferred

•             Strong knowledge of enterprise data management design and
development principals

•             Solid knowledge of modern software design principles,
concepts, and practices

•             Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills



Contract Developer - Integration

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Contract Developer to support our newly formed
Multi-Asset Class Strategies (MACS) team from an IT perspective. This is an

strategic data stores in the area of Account Master, Broker / Custodian

Performance systems for Total Return Performance and GIPS Composite
information; BiSam preferred

•             Experience implementing solutions with the following security
types: Equities, ETFs, Futures, Options, Structured Notes, FX, Total Return
Swaps, Interest Rates Swaps, and Volatility Swaps

•             Expert knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, and the .NET Framework;
Strong database engineering skills on the MS SQL server platform

•             Strong knowledge of enterprise data management design and
development principals

•             Solid knowledge of modern software design principles,
