*Hope you are doing well..* *Please let me know your Feedback…* *Position: Web focus Developer* *Duration: 6 Months* *Location: Denver, CO* *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Analyze existing FOCUS/WebFOCUS reports running on the different platforms which use legacy FOCUS databases to determine what changes need to be made to get the report running on a Windows WebFOCUS environment using a new ORACLE data warehouse which is replacing multiple FOCUS databases. · Develop and document a repeatable process for modifying existing FOCUS and WebFOCUS report procedures to work with the new ORACLE data warehouse. · Define and document best practices for FOCUS/WebFOCUS report conversion to be shared and used by other internal developers across the enterprise. · Modify existing FOCUS/WebFOCUS report procedures, using the established process, to work with the new ORACLE data warehouse. · Where applicable, create HTML launch pages to run multiple report procedures or run one report procedure that can generate multiple reports as a means of reducing the total number of report procedures going forward. · Provide code walkthroughs of completed reports with the development team. · Work with end-user clients to understand the requirements for existing reports, demonstrate converted procedures, fix defects found during testing, and migrate final code to the production environment · Communicate with all stakeholders throughout the report conversion project to gain clarification of requirements, provide project status, identify gaps, identify issues, and discuss schedules.
