The contractor will be embedded in either a testing / validation team or a development team and be responsible for automating certain tests. The contractor may also be asked to provide leadership to less experienced team members. Technical Skills Skill Years/Level of Experience Mandatory Test Automation 1+ Years Java development 1+ Years Cucumber 1+ Years Selenium 1+ Years Preferred Javascript programming 0.5 at least (in order of preference) Jenkins job scripting 0.5 at least Test architecture / team leadership 1 at least Job Responsibilities The resource will join the Client’s Disability Claims Processing System program to help accelerate the implementation of automated tests. The candidate will be embedded in either a testing / validation team or a development team and be responsible for automating certain tests. Other responsibilities include programming automated test scripts using Cucumber and Selenium, helping to define the automated test script structure, scheduling, and defining standards. The resource may also be asked to provide leadership and coaching to less experienced junior testers.
