*Tasks:*

Our client is seeking a Multimedia Training Analyst to support a multi-year
endeavor whereby our client will implement new technologies and processes
in an effort to modernize services towards market excellence. Several
projects under this program will be initiated in 2016 and a dedicated
Training Program Analyst is needed to support the initiation of this
program.



*Background:*

This individual will work as part of the Learning & Development Team,
initially reporting to our Washington, DC office but will ultimately
transfer to our new VA office in Reston.



*Responsibilities:*

The Candidate will be responsible for eliciting and documenting the
learning requirements for the program and staff. Outputs will inform
training strategy and delivery going forward. The ultimate goal of this
role is to rapidly integrate multiple IT roles and disciplines into a
multi-year innovation program. In addition to being responsible for
designing and developing training, the Candidate shall also set up delivery
methods and schedules for newly on-boarded staff. The Candidate shall
advise on training and performance methodology while evolving the program
in coordination with leadership, stakeholders and project personnel.
Organizationally, the Candidate will be matrixed to the program through the
Learning & Development unit.



*Skills/Experience:*



*Candidate will have 8 -10 years of the following:*

• Proven track record in developing original and innovative technical and
related process training programs, workshops and demonstrations; experience
developing instructor-led training materials and self-paced learning
content.

• Experience delivering training through a variety of methodologies
including but not limited to: instructor-led, train-the-trainer and
eLearning. Production of job aids, as well as learner and instructor guides
will also be required.

• Experience analyzing new systems prior to implementation for roles-based
training determination, training scope and schedule.

• Established practice of updating eLearning and manual training materials
based on end-user feedback as well as process, system or policy revision.

• Experience designing training programs from project discovery to
implementation.

• Experience serving as project lead for complex projects.

• Develop strong working knowledge of the Learning & Development
customer-base. Accountable for the design and delivery of select training
programs and materials to our external customer, Client Plans, across the
Federal Employee Program.

• Extensive understanding of instructional approaches to systems training
and knowledge of IT-enabled change.

• Experience working on process-change activities supported by IT solutions
and translating

them into performance-based training.

• Develops and/or contributes to unit reports including but not limited to:
project status, cumulative learner scores, learner evaluations and course
delivery analytics on an on-going basis.

• 5 yrs. experience in project management and SDLC. Working knowledge of
writing training for audiences that include Business Analysts, Unit
Testers, Project Managers and Development staff, among other end-users.



*Additional Skills:*

• Ability to capture key elements in brainstorming sessions, generate group
member direction, and lead group to define and achieve goals.

• Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent change.

• Experience working independently, effectively managing multiple tasks and
directional changes under short and firm deadlines and a strong ability to
work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

• Apply technical and analytical approaches to address client issues
related to process assessment, strategy and change management for process
improvement, organizational transformation, and/or other related areas.

• Foundation knowledge and understanding of learning theory and
instructional design techniques.

• Interpersonal skills, communication, facilitation and presentation
(written and oral) skills. Ability to break down complex concepts and
processes into understandable messages, training, and support materials.

• Excellent written and verbal English skills for the purpose of
documentation development, curriculum development, editing and
communication.

• Highly self-motivated and self-managed; ability to work independently and
as part of a team with minimal coaching or supervision.

• Ability to organize and work under strict time and production deadlines,
while producing quality deliverables.

• Provides technical support for the organization or educational
institution. Implements and evaluates instruction for adult learners.



*Qualifications:*

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Instructional Design, Communications,
Technical Writing, Computer Science, Journalism, Psychology, Social
Sciences, English, or Business.

• 6 yrs. experience with the Adobe Captivate required. Experience with
video production and editing and web casting highly desirable.

• 6-10 yrs. proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications including:
PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Project, Visio., particularly as used
in the development of instructional content.



*Preferences: *

• Knowledge of Health Care Claims processing preferred.
