*Please reply to ,* * [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Position: Business Analyst* *Location:** Indianapolis, IN * *Rate:** $45/hr C2C* *Duration:** 3+ month contract * Job Description: This position partners with IT and the functional business area users to help manage customer work requests, define and/or clarify business requirements, and then develop functional design specifications. This position has the experience and knowledge to conduct complex analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause resolution of business system and business process problems. Other activities in support of business systems and processes may be carried out where skills and knowledge are fitting. - Work with key stakeholders in the business to gather and document requirements for new business systems and business system enhancements. - Work jointly with the business and IT, leveraging business requirements to develop the functional design for new business systems and business system enhancements. - Identify problems, secure relevant information from all stakeholders, clarify key issues, consider alternative solutions, and take steps to solve the problem and prevent re-occurrence (i.e. root cause). - Work with all stakeholders being impacted by business system and/or business process changes to ensure all changes are managed back into the business in a way that minimizes impact to the customer. - As one in the unique position to help bridge the gap between IT and the business, provide consulting services to both IT and the business to help bring understanding to the intersection between, and integration of, business process and business applications. ยท On occasion, for small to large projects or projects not staffed with a project manager, manage projects using the standard OneAmerica Project Management Methodology.
