*Role: Android Developers – 8 positions*
*Length: 6 month contract*
*Interview: Technical Phone Screen/Skype*
Essential Functions:
- Participate in architecture and development of cutting edge systems
and applications
- Design and develop Android apps and frameworks that is highly
responsive and multi- threaded
- Review requirements, UI/UX designs and translate them into product
development plans and schedules
- Conduct technology research; conceptualize ideals into prototype and
products
- Coordinate or manage development efforts
- Thrive on taking ownership and doing whatever it takes to deliver
results
- Work closely with development team, onsite and occasionally, offshore
Essential Requirements:
- *5+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years of
Java and Android development experience*
- *Media streaming and Video player experience highly preferred*
- *Understanding of REST/JSON/XML Web Services*
- *Experience with Concurrency programming; Animations; Networking API*
- Working knowledge of the mobile software design patterns, architectures
- Experience working on development teams, have performed code reviews
and can identify attributes of quality code
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Client engagement experience from a consultant/vendor perspective
Desired Experience/Skills:
- Experience with streaming; and HLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or
Engineering
- Experience with software outsourcing of international projects
- Experience with software development and working in an Agile/Scrum
environment
