*Note:* This is a Functional position but the person should understand
technical language (NO coding is required).
*Even though position description says Fiori and Ariba are plusses, the
client wants experience with both*.
*Major Purpose of Job: *
• *Required strong SAP Functional skills in SAP MM
module*
• *Good understanding of MM configuration and
functionality.*
• *Knowledge of Procurement Processes and Procedures.*
• *SAP Functionality related to Procurement Processes*
*Essential Job Functions: *
• Experience in Business Warehouse plus
• Knowledge of Fiori (For MM functions) plus
• Ariba knowledge plus.
*Requirements: *
· Strong in implementation, configuration,
customization and maintenance(support) of SAP MM module and integration
with other SAP Modules
· Based on user requirements analysis: Proposes,
configures, documents and tests business solution in SAP/MM application
according to the functional and technical requirement
· Strong knowledge of procurement processes.
· Write test scripts and perform testing of SAP MM
module in DEV and QA environment before changes/new versions/service packs
or patches are applied to SAP production client.
· Prepare and analyze reports concerning plant
inventory activity.
· Analyze and prepare various procurement queries,
reports related to contract activity as required by state law and
management requests.
· Prepare and maintain end user procedures for all SAP
related functionality.
· Ability to work in a team environment with both
employees and consultants is a must
· Will be required to work together under the direction
of a NYPA SAP Manager and SAP portfolio team members
· Candidates must be prepared to participate in fast
track knowledge transfer of complex environment from a number of highly
experienced consultants
· Must have the ability to communicate effectively
across many different levels of technical and business acumen.
· Strong time management skills and multi-tasking
capabilities
· Strong analytical skills focused on creating optimal
solutions
· An understanding of technical concepts, principles
and terminology
*Education and Experience *
Minimum 8 years quality experience (or a minimum of 12 years of directly
related experience for non-degree holders) including at least 6 years in an
applications development and support environment.
Minimum 5 years of project Management experience within various IT
disciplines.
