The Sr. PSA is responsible for the following duties: System Administration: * Experience with Enterprise Manager, Operations Manager * Monitoring/managing overall system health * Monitoring/tuning environment configuration and settings * Monitoring/advising for addressing long running reports * Periodic auditing/reporting for inactive users Installation, configuration, upgrading of software components for major/minor/patch releases Support performance testing, etc. Aid in developing/implementing/testing disaster recovery strategy and mechanisms for MicroStrategy architecture Capacity planning and management Troubleshooting/Issue Resolution Help reproduce production issues for logging tickets with Tech Support Analyze Intelligence Server and Web Server logs while troubleshooting Change logging settings if needed Submitting and managing issues and enhancement cases with MicroStrategy for administration/environment related items Deployment Support development teams via object/code migrations across environments Develop CI/CD mechanisms and automation for deploying MicroStrategy project and configuration changes across the various environments * User/Group Provisioning Support development teams with user/group security provisioning Aid in automating user provisioning Description: Under independent direction, the Sr. Production Support Analyst (Sr. PSA) develops integrated solutions to resolve highly complex technical and business issues and plays a major role in the implementation and ongoing support of major systems. The Sr. PSA participates in re-platforming and re-engineering efforts essential to ongoing system support, staying abreast of business and technological changes. The Sr. PSA analyzes current systems considering system capacity, limitations, operation time and desired results. The Sr. PSA documents requirements due to re-engineering of applications, translates into functional and/or technical specifications, writes and executes test cases and plans, oversees the testing process, and maintains vendor relationships for implementation and issue resolution when necessary.
