Scanning, Imaging tools and C++ skills (even if they are older) is a huge plus. *Official Job Description:* The senior software developer will be responsible for writing scanning application software for Scantron iNSIGHT 150 high speed scanners utilizing Scantron’s ScanTools Plus software package and C# components. Experience with Scan Tools Plus or Image Scan Tools software packages is a big plus. Application plug-ins for the scanning applications are written in C# and MS Visual Studio 2010 & 2013. Work Management: In this role, the software engineer will: • meet with various Teams - Systems (IT), Business (SBU) and Operational (FCE) teams to help identify and document the specifications of each of the scanning application projects • review and approve the Publications department scannable document designs for the iNSIGHT 150 high speed scanners • develop and test scanning programs • assist in developing cost estimates and project schedules.
