We have an immediate Openings with Our Direct Client for a Long term contract position *Job Title : Mobile Automation Tester with Appium Exp* *Location: Waltham, MA* *Duration: 12+ Months* *Visa status : US CITIZEN / GREEN CARD / EAD ONLY* *Description* The automated testing engineer will mainly be writing automated testing scripts, so a combination of coding skills and testing experience is desired. The candidate could be a formal programmer interested in writing automated testing scripts(in java), or a tester with CS background wants to improve his programming skills further. The same team is also building production software and people are working across projects, so he would have chance in developing commericial software (mobile app or server) if he is capable. The automated testing engineer at Client side will works within a product development team to provide cutting edge next generation communication applications on mobile handsets. He/she will be responsible for designing testing process, drafting test plan, executing test cases, writing automated testing scripts, analyzing test results and assessing severity of issues, providing testing summary and reports, facilitating troubleshooting, and working closely with application and device teams to resolve issues and provide general device/tool support. *The position requires: * · Minimum of a BA degree of an engineering major - REQUIRED · Minimum of 2 to 4 years of work experience -REQUIRED · At least 2 years of overall testing experience ( including PC Applications, Web applications) - REQUIRED · At least 1 year experience of testing mobile applications using Appium . - REQUIRED · Sound understanding of programing and software concepts and principles are required including database, networking, jason/xml, object oriented design. · Familiar with Testing Techniques – Understand the various approaches used in testing, including (e.g. desk checking), white–box (logic drive), black–box (requirements driven), load testing, coverage testing and regression testing. · Knowledge and experience with IMS, SIP is DESIRED · Familiarity with different mobile platforms ( Android, iOS) is highly desired. · Experience with tools like Wireshark and QXDM is DESIRED.. · Experience with VoIP and Video applications is DESIRED. · Knowledge of wireless network (CDMA, LTE) and IMS network is desired. · Strong communication skills (both oral and verbal).
