*Position – Tibco Developer with Integration Exp*

*Location – Danville, PA*

*Duration – C2H*

*Only USC / GC / GC EAD / H4 EAD*

Description –

Client is a leader in Pennsylvania's regional health care insurance
industry. IT organization is looking to hire on a contract to permanent
basis a senior Integrations Developer to drive the development for systems
integrations during an enterprise core systems implementation project.

The ideal candidate(s) will bring integration design and development
experience to the table. The client is looking for solutions oriented
people, not heads down developers, for this engagement. Qualified
candidates for this environment will have worked on integrations
development in various technology environments: .NET, Java, Open Source,
Tibco, WebMethods, MuleSoft etc. Technology diversity is key in this role
as the client is looking for best approach solutioning, not simply
integrations development based on their current technology stack.

This integration environment is on a Tibco platform (Tibco v. 6 in Business
Works) though again, client would gladly trade deep v. 6 experience for
candidates with experience on multiple platforms.

This integration work is focused on both Messaging and Web Based
Integration, not ETL or Business Intelligence work. Within Web Services,
client is looking for experience in the design and implementation of
RESTful Web Services.

Added to the above, this client is looking for resources who have prior
"general software development" experience. Along this theme, resources who
have done nothing but integration development in a particular platform will
be less attractive than individuals who have done web development, even ETL
or BI type development before getting into integration work.

Experience with modern source control is also important to success in this
role. TFS, GIT, Mercurial are preferred.

Finally, any domain knowledge will bring specific candidate options to the
top. Candidates with health care insurance or even general insurance
industry experience will be preferred. Lacking that, candidates should
come with diverse industry experience (ie: not all Manufacturing or
Banking). Again, these roles are for well rounded, diverse development
resource.

Required Skills:

Integration Developer with 5+ years of experience developing Integrations
and Services on various platforms.

Modern Source Control technology experience: TFS, Git and/or Mercurial
preferred.

Strong SQL development skills are a must, with 3+ years of experience
writing SQL queries and stored procedures.

Strong problem solving skills, and excellent communication skills are
required.

*Position -- Data Architect*

*Location: Chicago, IL*

*Rate: $65 to $70 /HR*

*Duration: 6+ months*

*Local: Highly preferred*

*USC / GC / GC EAD / H4 EAD *

*Skills Needed: Data Architect in Oracle environments with strong Oracle,
SQL, data flow from Cognos, Schema, etc.*

*JD below:*

Senior Data Architect:

* Must be able to navigate in Oracle, beyond basic SQL skills - analytic
functions (lead, lag, dense rank, and other windowing functions) and
hierarchical queries.

* Must be able to read and understand Oracle Query Plans and implement the
correct choices for performance

* Must know most of the views (V$*, X$*) of the Oracle data dictionary, to
get information on the fly about relationships, and mutual-dependencies
among database objects

* Must speak the dialect of Oracle DBAs with ease, and take on Oracle DBA
role if ever needed.

* Must be able to visualize data as a table, a tree(balanced, ragged) or a
graph and perform operations with ease to pivot the shape of data when
needed

* Must understand multiple hierarchies in trees and how to maintain them
via ETL or other, with minimal intrusion

* Must know when to use a snowflake versus a star and not quote some
esoteric line from latest Ralph Kimballs blog.

* Must understand layered reusable structures in the database

* Must be able to analyze data and their relationships in a foreign EIS
system, understand the grain of data and which attributes they hang of, and
then correctly define the grain in the target data mart

* Be able to effortlessly design data-level security that may (or may not)
reflect the integrating source systems.

* Understand how to design extensible Multi-dimension security which could
use any combination of union or intersection, if needed

* Must be able to visualize a target data mart once presented with data
from source systems.

Know what the dimensions would be, what their attributes would be; what
hierarchies would they have? Would they ragged?

* Envision future directions of the mart - be able to foresee what types of
future trending and analytics might come in future phases and thereby
design correct locations for fast-changing versus slow-changing attributes

* Historical trending, time-series, restating history SCD types, NRT and
trickle feed integration are highly desirable.

* Must be able to have a cogent conversation with data analysts, ETL, data
architects and modelers if not do their job, if needed

* Must be able to design for data ingestion and outflow through a wide
variety of channels -- Flat files, XML, JSON via file ETLs; Trickle
consumption via Services, Oracle View remote links, Messaging if needed

* Must have an understanding of how to design real-time and near real-time
trickle feeds

* Must be able to write complex queries in SQL

* Must know which indexes to design (B-tree, Bitmap, Clustered join,
functional, etc.) and composite partitioning choices on Very Large Tables
based on the nature of data

* Must know all trade-offs in performance tuning between loads and reads.

* Must be able to tune SQL, apply hints, enforce other query plans by
changing session or memory parameters in Oracle

* Must be able to write code in PL/SQL (or Transact SQL if coming from MS
SQL Server background) for functions, stored procedures, packages and
triggers. Must be knowledgeable on cursor types and processing.

* Must know how use and invoke stored procedures from custom languages
(Java, .NET) as well as Cognos BI Framework Manager and Cognos TM1 TI.

* Must know when to use a materialized view versus a summary table and the
concept of query rewrites

* Must have client and stakeholder interaction abilities and working with
Cross functional teams.

* Desired experience with latest Business Intelligence and analytical
technologies (Ex: Analytics, Big Data, Statistics, Algorithms, and Cloud
computing etc...)
