I have a fairly large workbook (about 4MB) that I use to keep my company's budget, and to report actual results. It uses some simple macros for printing and other housekeping tasks. In addition, it connects to an external data source (Visual Foxpro) to import actual results from our SBT accounting system.
The file is kept on our server and is used by many people in our company and has been very stable for about 10 years. In the last 6 months, however, it's been erratic.Many times it can't be saved, displaying the message: "File not Saved". We also get a message on startup "Error in loading DLL" Both of these problems are intermittent and occur on many different machines and will occur if the file is saved on an individual workstation or over the network.
