Hi Mark, Excel does not have a built-in ability to produce venn diagram charts. Although if I am not wrong!! Excel-XP had a venn diagram autoshape. I am not sure that it is linked to data in anyway though.
I also read somewhere that: Excel 2k3 can create a Venn diagram using the menu Insert > Diagram then selecting Venn. You can then add more objects to increase the complexity. You can then navigate to the cells underneath the diagram to add formulas or links but thats as good as it gets. It is pretty handy. However, there are several links on the internet, explaining, how to achieve the same with Excel. I have compiled a set of links below for you. hope these help. http://www.andypope.info/ngs/ng9.htm I personally liked the next three links: http://www.data-miners.com/blog/2008/10/creating-accurate-venn-diagrams-in.html http://www.data-miners.com/blog/2008/11/creating-accurate-venn-diagrams-in.html http://www.data-miners.com/blog/venn-20081025.xls http://www.mrexcel.com/tip090.shtml http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel/HA103364221033.aspx http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/TC300015891033.aspx?ofcresset=1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=im27mda7pnw http://www.internet4classrooms.com/excel_venn.htm http://www.internet4classrooms.com/venn_diagram_07.htm http://www.cs.kent.ac.uk/people/staff/pjr/EulerVennCircles/EulerVennApplet.html All the above will help u with a lot of ideas regarding the venn. Hope it Helps.
