Ctrl+Shift+4 (i.e. Ctrl+$): Formats your current selection as currency
Ctrl+Shift+5 (i.e. Ctrl+%): Formats your current selection as a percentage
Ctrl+Shift+6 (i.e. Ctrl+^): Formats your current selection as scientific
notation
Ctrl+Shift+8 (i.e. Ctrl+*): To highlight the active range
Ctrl+9 :                          Hide Row
Ctrl+Shift+9 (i.e. Ctrl+():  Unhide Row
 Ctrl+0 :                          Hide Column
Ctrl+Shift+0 (i.e. Ctrl+)):  Unhide Column
Ctrl+PgUp and Ctrl+PgDn: To navigate through worksheets within a workbook
Ctrl+Space: Select Column
Shift+Space: Select Row
Ctrl+1: Brings up Format Cell Dialog Box
Ctrl+2: Toggles Cell format to *Bold*
Ctrl+3: Toggles Cell format to *Italic*
 Ctrl+4: Toggles Cell format to *Underline*
Ctrl+5: Toggles Cell format to   strikethrough
