Tip to trace dependent from other sheet and file - Control and [
In case you have a figure which is a formula derived from some other cell
in same sheet or some other sheet in same file or some cell in some other file
altogether, then press Control and [.
Though the formula bar shows you the complete path as to from which cell of
which sheet and file name, but by pressing these, the cursor moves directly to
that cell of that sheet.
This is useful where in an excel file you have one main sheet, in which all the
values are derived from different sheets. And to recheck as to whether the
correct figures have come under correct headings, one can use this tip from the
said main sheet. Please check the attached sheet for further clarification and
in case still confused, please free to write to me.

Subject : Format Painter
Detail : The little "format painter" is the most useful button in
Excel. It looks like a paintbrush and is grouped with the
cut,copy,paste buttons. Basically highlight a cell with the formating
that you want, click the button, and then highlight cell(s) that you
want to just paste the format. HUGE time saver!
