Dear Bakul & all friends,

I know this issue that's way I asked if any possibility. And if name match in
both sheet my problem will not solve try this just because products are
different. Sumif function will only work with unique key and vlookup will pick
wrong values. Waiting for solution.

Regards,

Aamir Shahzad

        Hi Aamir,

The problem with your spreadsheet is Borrower name in Main sheet is not
matching with Account name in Source name.
e.g. In Main sheet Borrower name is "NEW ALLIED ELECTRONI" but in
Source sheet it is "NEW ALLIED ELECTRO". Means the text is not matching. If you
can make it same you can get your solution.

        Cheers,
        Bakul

                  Hi Aamir,

Just a quick question. Do you maintain this spreadsheet for
one year only & create new for next year? becasue in your second sheet i can't
find date. Would you please explain me what exactly you want? what is SUFF &
CURR?

Also Do you want closing balance on 30/06/XX only or monthly
or yearly?

                  Cheers,
                  Bakul

                    Dear Vivek Agrawa,

Thanks for reply. Please find attachment. In attachment two
sheet available "Main sheet" where I want to fill information in column
"Closing Balance" & second "Source Sheet" from where I want to pick the
"Closing Balance". Remeber both sheet's data is same. Often time I have data in
scattered form. e.g. Name & product missmatch. Unique is just "Branch &
Account".

But I am troubling to make a unique key for "sumif" or
"vlookup" function. This is just example I handle data which consist thousands
of rows & columns.

                    Thanks & regards,

                    Aamir Shahzad
