Good morning folks
I am looking for a database / excel list to maintain supplier invoices. I give
below what I could manually enter and what outputs I am looking for .
I am ready to / I will manually enter and maintain the following
(1) Supplier master data :
1.1. Supplier name
1.2. Supplier number (assigned by me)
1.3. Supplier address ..
1.4. Supplier Bank a/c details etc
1.5. Credit terms (i.e. number of days from invoice date when invoices are
to be paid)
(2) Supplier Invoice or Transaction details :
2.1. Invoice number
2.2. Invoice date
2.3. Invoice narration
2.4. Invoice amount
2.5. Invoice currency
2.6. Invoice paid date - As and when an invoice is paid I shall enter this
date against the invoice
What do I need ?
- A screen to enter / maintain 1 and 2 above
- A process (click here..etc) that generates a due date per invoice (based on
invoice date (2.2.) and Credit terms (1.5.) above
- A report that lists paid invoices / un paid invoices based on criteria .
- Criteria like Supplier name, due date range (all invoices DUE from 01 Aug 09
to 31 Aug 09 ...FOR E.G)
A. The above is probably too far away from MS XL and lies in the realm of MS
Access etc... Still I wished to explore
B. I agree that the above is too elaborate ...but I am hoping that such
requests may have been posted here before and I could get a copy of an
earlier answer. OTOH if this has NOT been handled before and IF this is too
cumbersome, please ignore this request
