Hi,

It is possible to set visibility of chart.

You can use the code given in  http://cjoint.com/data/fFrTGZSr2t.htm
Do following changes in that code:

Instead of "ActiveSheet.Shapes("AutoShape 3").Visible = False"
use "ActiveSheet.ChartObjects("Chart 1").Visible = False"

Attached is the excel for your reference.
