Hi Angelo, I'm still confused about exactly what you want. Are you really sure you're looking for an iteration?
You say that If in cell A1 i have "aaa" it should stay the same, but if i have "bbb" it should be changed to "ccc" , but cell A1 *has* "aaa" or * displays* "aaa"? - If it has "aaa", then there is nothing to iterate here. I think you would be looking for a macro then. - If it displays "aaa", where is the cell feeding this value from? Are you sure you need to iterate cell A1 with itself, and not simply change the string with a formula?
