=DAY(DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),MONTH(*(B2&1)*)+1,1)-1)

how about
=DAY(DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),MONTH((B2&1))+1,*0*))

The *last day of this month*  is = the  *0*th day of the Next Month !!
