I don't know offhand the details, but a quick search came up with a couple
Indian gateway providers that actually include software or add-ins for
sending SMS messages from Excel (there may be others, too).   You might want
to see what their existing software does before trying to code your own. --

Hi Champions


Does anyone know is there is a way of sending SMS text messages from excel?
And if there is can this be automated from within VBA so that the OnTime
method could be used?

We need SMS gateway provider of India telecoms to fire the SMS. 


This would be really challenging/Interesting in our life to prove
unbelievable stuff by doing this which is never been done so far
............
