This will be our 3rd event, but whereas past events have been somewhat "amorphous" (submissions could be pretty much anything that integrated Excel and Google docs dynamically), I've decided to assign some structure to this one. This one is inspired by a project I recently discussed with a past student. Here's the challenge: Create an easy to use Excel add-in that: 1) Accepts a user's google spreadsheet destination (URL) 2) Allows a user to specify a range in the current workbook 3) Allows a user to specify a start cell in the google sheet 4) Writes the content of the workbook range to the google sheet starting at the destination cell. The addin should allow the above to function both: a) through a pop-up userform b) a user defined function accepting the url and range parameters designated by the user. $300 will be awarded to the most smoothly operating, cleanly developer and user friendly application. $150 for 2nd place and $50 for third.
