Ahh... I see what you're trying to do.
Your worksheet has formulas.
on any given day, you want to "freeze" the previous values
so that they will no longer update.

You PROBABLY only need to freeze the current date,
because yesterday's data would have been "frozen" yesteday,
and the day before that was frozen then, and so on.

however, this macro should do what you asked:

Sub Freeze_Values()
    Dim C, nCols
    nCols = ActiveCell.SpecialCells(xlLastCell).Column
    For C = 1 To nCols
        If (IsDate(Cells(6, C).Value)) Then
            If (DateDiff("D", Cells(6, C).Value, Now()) = 0) Then
                Range(Cells(1, 1), Cells(1, C)).EntireColumn.Select
                Selection.Copy
                Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues, Operation:=xlNone,
SkipBlanks _
                    :=False,
 Transpose:=False
                Cells(6, C).Select
                Exit For
            End If
        End If
    Next C
End Sub

then copy all all columns from "A" to column "H" (column "H" excuded so range
A:G) and paste all these column as value
Thanks
