Hey guys,

trying to take Excel to the next level here for a budget template design
that I have in mind. Is it possible to have a spreadsheet within a
spreadsheet? Let me clarfiy: I'd like to insert for a certain portion of
the screen, another spreadsheet within my original spreadsheet. That
"window" should be scrollable and when clicking on contents in that
embedded spreadsheet, I'd like to have the outter "mother" spreadsheet
change its contents. Or vice versa, when selecting and clicking on items on
the outer spreadsheet, the contents of the embedded spreadsheet should
change.

I have been able to embed a spreadsheet object in my original spreadsheet.
However, to maniuplate the contents, you always have to double click the
embedded object first, it then opens up all the way, etc. That's not the
effect I'm looking for. Are there other objects I could possibly use for
this idea? Maybe somebody has a sample to share?

Thanks for your help in advance,
Chris
