Hi Muneer, The formula will get the result, unless and until the criteria's are matching. The main purpose of implementing the data validation is to restrict the user from entering any kind of data. In this case the user is allowed to select only the items which is present in the drop down. But the drop down data is having lot of duplicated data and which is not the fair way.
Any how, formula will work fine without the need of data validation, when the the criteria's are matching.
