You say: "office intranet" is that what you mean? as in: it's a link on a web site? or is it actually on a network folder? Actually, the link would actually BE pointing to a network folder. If you can open the file location, then you'd be able to see what the network path is to the file and use the VBA filesytem object to copy the file. If it actually is on an intranet web page, then it can still be accomplished, but it's a little more involved.
