Forecasting ANYTHING is very, very specific to the industry and application.
There are literally THOUSANDS of criteria that can be used to forecast whatever
you're trying to predict.
Every year, I have to forecast how many Christmas trees we'll sell.And what the
high-volume days will be (to have additional volunteers available).
To do this, I have to include WEATHER predictions!(we sell more the weekend
following Thanksgiving if it's cold and especially snows, but sell LESS if it
rains)
There's no "standard" forecast template (unless a specific industry requires
one).
Forecasting is very much customized for every application.
