Hi All,

I am a newbie to excel macro. Having little knowledge in vbscript.

We are planning to arrange a relay run in our office. Ten different teams,
each team will have 4 members. I want it to be automated by clicking some
buttons instead of manual entry.

Three functionalities involved in this work.

   1. Start run - It will enter the current time in ten team's start time
   cell
   2. Stop run - It will enter once the runner reach the finish point in
   individual runner cell and enter next runners start cell
   3. Calculate Total - it will calculate the total timing of each team

*Issue*

I use below code to start the run.

Sub Start_Run()
    Range("D4").Select
    ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=NOW()"
    Range("D11").Select
    ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=NOW()"
    Range("D18").Select
    ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=NOW()"
    Range("D4").Select
    ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=NOW()"
End Sub

Sub End_Run(CellAddress)
    Range(CellAddress).Select
    ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=NOW()"
End sub

Start_Run works as expected when i clicked Start button, but when i press
the Stop button it updates all the cells where Start_Run entered start time.
So all values updated to current time. I need the function to update the
time to the particular cell not all.

Please throw some light on this issue....
