ROLE: Devops Location: St. Louis Visa: Any Experience: 5+ Yrs Summary: Install, configure, tune, upgrade, maintain, and monitor COTS applications used in one or more DevOps tool areas: planning, tracking, developing, building, testing, releasing and monitoring.
Essential Job Functions: • Execute application management, configuration management, performance monitoring activities • Monitor and support security controls and capabilities for operating systems, layered products, and specialty software • Install and configure application instances • Assist business users and systems engineers with the setup, installation, and testing of their applications • Plan and coordinate testing changes, upgrades, and new services, ensuring systems will operate correctly in current and future environments • Responsible for problem management activities such as issue resolution and root cause analysis to include working with vendors as needed • Interface with users and systems engineers in order to resolve technical and user problems Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field preferred • Six or more years of administration of Linux, Windows and/or applications • Experience with Source Control tools (e.g., git, Gitlab, ClearCase) • Experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g., Jira, TFS, ClearQuest) • Experience with Build tools (e.g., Jenkins) Other Qualifications • Excellent problem solving/analytical skills • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers, and third-party vendors. • Highly self-motivated, directed, and change-oriented • Ability to learn new content areas and new skills quickly and well Work Environment • Office environment Here are the tools that will be managed so the customer is looking for administration knowledge of as many of these (or the capabilities represented by these) as possible: TFS Jira PCF Docker Kubernetes Artifactory Gitlab Jenkins UrbanCode Ansible Sonarqube AppDynamics Collaborator Fisheye Crowd Confluence BitBucket Bamboo Thanks...
